Who says Apple and Android-powered devices have all the application fun? Buzzd, a location-based city guide and social network, is introducing out a mobile, Web-based guide compatible across a multitude of carriers and handsets for technophiles who may not have the latest touchscreen device.
On Tuesday, the New York-based company announced a deal with MetroPCS, a wireless carrier that offers prepaid, flat-rate mobile phone plans, to showcase the Buzzd mobile site from the carrier’s Web deck.
